We’re still here…
We’ve been away for a while, coping with a recent tragedy at the JCN Kansai shelter. Sadly, the shelter experienced an outbreak of Parvovirus. Though this is a difficult time for us, we are determined not to let it stop us from our commitment to providing shelter assistance to those helping cats through Trap Neuter and Return efforts. We believe that sheltering is an essential part of successful and humane TNR, as well as a vital part of animal welfare. Having rescued, rehabilitated, re-homed, and/or released nearly 150 cats at the Kansai shelter over the last 2 years, in support of hundreds of others spayed or neutered, we believe that commitment is well founded. Please take the time to read a letter from our director, and to help us out now, as we move forward together!
Though we are not currently able to accept new cats or kittens at the shelter, we are still working to place rescues from TNR projects, and those coming in from animal control, into foster homes. 15 kittens urgently needed placements this past week and are now doing well in foster care. Yey for updates! I’ve been thinking about you guys alot over there and was glad to see no more postings about any more kitties crossing the bridge.

Do you have any ETA about when it would be safe to accept new kitties there?

great that you had some people who could foster. i hope you will get more foster support. i never regret fostering fa-chan^^!
@Margaret I am fantasias foster mommy (or fa-chan like we like to call her^^). she is doing great! she actually even got a bit spoiled since she is with me and my husband. if i am out for some hours and come home there is big complaining. she is such a little mommy kitty. her fur also got great. she is a big snuggle and talking cat now. she got even more cute and amazing.

@ Margaret hihi thanks! she is really demanding when it comes to food^^ She has all day dry food standing there and doesnt touch it but if we eat she demands loudly^^ and the same at morning and night when she gets her beloved canned food. Her favorite can food is the super cheap 7/11 food! I tried really expensiv food and she didnt liked but than we bought that and she loves. But it smells and lookes so bad -.-. But she loves it.
Her eyes are definately the most awsome in know. I cant resist if she begs for something and her eyes even become 3 times bigger^^!
Its just breacks my heart i am going to be a veterinary i always waned to be that because i haf kittens but the all die and wen i need i VEt 24hours i dont got one i am going to be a vet 24 7 days a week .yeah good bye my name is siarymar and i am 12 ears old Puerto Rico Rock o wen you need me for a emergenci call me ten years for now and im going to be a part of that team!.
My first kitty thats rith now is in two feets hes is Bebe in inglish is Baby bye love your animal you dont how much they love you and hve suffer so please save our animals please
