Alexandra

On May 8, Alexandra was taken to
animal
control to be destroyed, along with 3 siblings at 3 weeks of age. JCN
was able to intervene, thanks to a new partnership program in which we
help to spay mother cats and rescue surrendered kittens. Alex stayed in
foster care for several months, with her sister, in Osaka. Unlike her
sister, she had some
special needs due to a somewhat high-strung personality. She was very
friendly, but easily frightened, which caused some stress issues. She
liked to hop onto visitor's shoulders, which tended to shock some
people and amuse others. We very sadly lost Alex to a Parvovirus
outbreak, on February 27, 2010.
