Dolly

At only 6 weeks of age, Dolly was
taken to Animal Control to be
destroyed, along with her four siblings, one of whom died at the animal
control facility. On June 7, JCN was able to intervene, thanks to a
new
partnership program in which we help to rescue surrendered
kittens. Upon arrival, Dolly and her sister, Dixie, and brothers, Dayan and Daniel,
were all seriously malnourished, and were found to have contracted
Parvo virus while at the animal conrol facility. All were treated but
sadly Dolly was not able to survive. Dolly especially enjoyed her soft
cushion and was able to have a few good meals before the virus took
hold completely. She passed away on June 11, and will be missed by
those who stayed by her side until the end.
