Gordon

This is Gordon. He is a Fukushima rescue. Volunteers found him at one of the shelters. While he does have a collar, we don't know who his owner is, or if they are still searching for him. Gordon is a new arrival and still recovering. H...e actually came in with no name ... but calling him Jowls (because he has huge ones) just didn't seem right. Gordon has a very wide face, possibly due to scar tissue, but the rest of his body is quite thin. He looks like an old soldier or a battler, and we haven't gotten a chance to really assess him around people quite yet. Our guess is that he is an indoor/outdoor cat and was one of the big battlers in his old neighborhood. He does seem to like picking fights with other cats.

He is friendly but an alpha male.

June 24 update: This fellow has a lot of scar tissue around his face. Obviously not his first fight. He is sweet as pie to people but is used to fighting for his food and territory. Needs a foster. Went to the vet today and he has FIV . He has been around the block, and treated poorly. Now he needs an act of kindness. He needs a foster or better - a home with no other cats may be best.

Gordon is undergoing treatment for a mild upper respiratory infection.
