Kitten Enclosure
The Kitten enclosure was built in 2008 as a generous donation from a very kind couple living in Shiga-ken. We can't say enough good things about our 2 well designed and built enclosures, which allow the kitties in shelter to have safe access to fresh air and sunshine on a constant basis. This provides an entertaining and comfortable living environment for kitties waiting for their forever homes, as well as for those having to stay in shelter long-term.
The kitten enclosure is used by kittens and the kitties who like to live with them. Access to the kitten room from the enclosure can be closed or open, depending on need. Adult cats living in this area have heated cubbies in the winter, as well as access to the indoor area.
