Marshmallow

The volunteer who rescued Marshmallow writes:

Marshmallow is a sweet two-colored young cat (1 ~ 1.5 years old). He is a tabby-cat in the back and a yellow-cat in the chest and tummy.

He was found in Kyoto University Ð Uji Campus trying to get into the Cafeteria during lunch time probably attracted by the food smell. When I reached the cafeteria for lunch a grey sky was promising a big rain on 14th October as my birthday gift, so I decided I would get another birthday gift that day and pick Marshmallow; I brought him home and found out that nobody in the campus is looking for him.

It seems he used to be a house-cat, since he loves to sleep in the bed or in the cat-tower just beside the window. He is an extremely sweet boy, who offers his tummy for petting, and he is definitely a lap-cat, as well a bed-cat. Marshmallow maybe used to have a good life, but he was wandering for 2 days at the campus till he found me. He was starving, then for the first 2 days at home, he ate and ate all he could.

Mashmellow was vaccinated and tested FIV-negative by a vet in Kyoto. And he was neutered. He can use the litter-box perfectly.

Nowadays he is being fostered together with 2 kittens (1 month old) and they play, and sleep together sometimes. He proved to be very patient and tolerant with kittens, letting the kittens eat first always.

Marshmallow is an excellent companion and he is all-grace, demanding petting from time to time.
