Primrose Hill/Xena  Adopted!
A volunteer found Xena as a tiny kitten, in an area where cats were being trapped for spay and neuter. She was bottle fed by the volunteer and accepted into a JCN foster home at 10 weeks of age on June 13. Xena is a bit shy at first meetings but quickly warms up. She enjoys being petted and being held. She was adopted with brother Camden Town in Tokyo on December 19, 2010. JCN regularly brings kittens and cats to the Kanto area for adoption and fostering. 2/15/11 - Just a brief update. Cats doing really well. They’re incredibly active. New video of Camden playing fetch

1/5/11 - Cats doing very well. They really are great fun. They still follow me everywhere. They are very active, but when play time's over they are jostling for position on my lap at the kotatsu, or on my/in my futon. (video)

12/20 - Both Camden & Primrose slept with me last night. We’ve just had breakfast. As I work, Camden is on my lap (sleeping); Primrose on the sofa behind me (sleeping).

12/19/10 - Camden and Primrose are settling in very well. Both using their litter-tray. After a couple of hours exploring every nook and cranny, Camden slept on my lap at the kotatsu. Primrose still had work to do, conquering the last few unconquered, and more remote areas of the house. Primrose follows me everywhere. She's looking sleepy now, but looks like one of this children feigning wakefulness in fear of being sent to bed. Will send some photos a little later.

9/21/10 - The kittens are fine, no problems.  They are of course, pretty big now, Camden is small-cat-shaped, but Primrose still looks pretty kittenish. Attached are a few more recent photos.
They both like to lay in baskets and chase each other around the room like a hurricane.  According to them, there is nothing better in this world than a tissue and they have learned how to get the entirety of the toilet paper off the roll and onto the floor.  Camden is fascinated by the bathroom sink tap and demands it be turned on for his inspection whenever I'm in there and Primrose likes asking incessant questions by meowing and meowing at me and kneading my stomach.  As I write, Camden is sleeping on the bed next to me and Primrose is staring at me from beside the computer.  She wants to know if she can have one of my crackers.  I offer her one, she is not impressed.  They looked more interesting when I was eating them.
