Torao/Azira Adopted!
On 2/02/10, Torao was found abandoned near a Kusatsu TNR project area, at around 6 months of age. He's a friendly cat, though a little shy at first meeting. He was neutered on February 9. Torao stayed with 2 foster families in Tokyo, the first with his brother Buchio. Torao was adopted by his second home at the end of June. Feel free to contact us if you are interested in helping to save lives through fostering or adoption!

*****Notes*****
12/16/10 - Azira is doing well; he is very needy and will yowl at me furiously if I leave for even an hour, haha! I may see about getting him a playmate when I move to a bigger place at the end of January. He is so cute, and loves to sleep under the covers with me, and meows and puts his paw on my face if I don't let him underneath. Morning and night he gets a tiny bit of salmon as a treat, and if he doesn't get them on time, he will become a relentless ball of indignation.

I love my cat!!!

9/22/10 - Thanks for the mail. Everything is great; He is so cute; I love him and he sleeps with me every night. Here are some more pictures!

6/13/10 - Azira is adorable and just enough of a weirdo when he's playful that we really get along. He has his little routine now where he wakes me up in the morning for food, and he sleeps in the bed with me a lot now instead of under it! He is always rubbing around my legs and getting underfoot, and purring up a storm. So, I'm happy to say that he's very acclimated and content. I'd love to adopt him - send over the contract and he'll have a permanent home!

6/9/10 - He's fine; interacting great, happy, no toilet accidents, eating a lot every day, and playing with his toy mice all the time! I wanted to see about adopting him permanently, if that would be possible. We've taken quite a shine to each other! I also renamed him Azira. :)

(transferred to new foster home end of May)

5/11/10- Here are some photos of them alone and near Skazi! Poor Tarao still looks terrified in every photo I take! But Buchio seems to soak up the camera.

I will send more as they progress!
