These photos are from my recent trip to Tokyo (3/24) to visit a Girl Scout/Brownie troupe on one of the military bases and to continue talking with volunteers. I rode out in a car with a friend, this time. We brought 2 cats going to a new home, and Michael who was going to meet the Girl Scouts.
A long trip for the kitties...Mt. Fuji in the distance...these are the amazing Girl Scouts, with Tracey and Michael...with the Hello Kitty shitajiki presents David sent along for them.

The girls playing with and petting Michael...they kindly collected a lot of much needed food and supplies for the shelter, and moms made some cute kitty beds.

The girls also made up a bunch of toys for the cats to play with, which Michael clearly enjoyed!

Tracey and I met with a great group of ladies, to talk about rehoming and TNR...Elena brought pictures of the kittens and the mother cat that we helped trap for spay/neuter.

Judy kindly welcomed me into her home for the week that I was in Tokyo...I had so much fun staying with her!
These are the lucky kitties in their amazing new home with Judy...everyone was exploring the closets...Muffin warmed up slowly but was very comfortable by the time I left.

Muffin on coffee table and the comfy sofa...Sadie had already been at Judy's for a week or so, but these three are siblings, and she was happy to see her brothers.

Sadie on Judy's bed, which is Sadie's favorite place...

Sadie loves to sleep between the coverlet and the comforter...Sadie climbs onto Judy's lap!

Jessie and the gang...

Michael stayed with us all, and had to have sudden treatment for a bladder infection...even in his discomfort, he is a really gentle and happy cat!

Michael's favorite closet...Michael on food or play patrol...dinner in the big city (they have CHEESE on the menu!)... cherry blossoms near Judy's apartment

Krispy Kreme, on the way out of town (brought some back for David)...None of these treats out where we live, which is probably fortunate!
